Maggie is so happy to spend a whole day with her parents this weekend. They are going to the best sea food restaurant in the city and Maggie wants to try a great dish. She wants to eat delicious shellfish because she heard it is really good. Oh no! Maggie is starting to feel sick after a few bites, her face is yellow and her lips are swollen. The first step is to call 911, the medical emergency unit, and let them know that Maggie will arrive at the hospital. In First Aid: Shellfish Allergy she will need to go trough a few check ups and treatments, to regain her health. The doctor will check her heart rate using a stethoscope. The nest step is to give her an injection with epinephrine to reduce the swollen lips to a normal size. She is looking better already, but in First Aid: Shellfish Allergy the doctor will give her an IV solution so she can regain her natural skin tone and a charcoal pill to prevent stomach pain.
