Zeus’ favourite daughter, Athena was the goddess of wisdom, courage, the arts, crafts, justice, and skill in Greek mythology. She was a warrior and a great strategist. She led many battles in order to protect Athens. She was also an inventor. Athena invented the flute, the trumper, the earthenware pot, the plough, the rake, the horse-bridle, the chariot, and the ship.
